Laherte Frères Extra Brut Rosé Meunier

100% pinot meunier from 30 year old vines. This cuvée is elegant, fresh and fruity yet dry at just 2.5 g/l Disgorged by hand in April 2023. Located in the village Chavot-Courcourt, south of Epernay, Aurelien Laherte is a 7th generation vigneron has the mantra to let the terroir speak for itself. With a deep respect for tradition, heritage and land, his farming practices are organic & biodynamic with 75 different plots across Epernay, Vallée de la Marne, and the Cotes des Blancs. The grapes are picked by hand when fully ripen, traditionally pressed then fermented in vats, foudres and barrels with partial malo and assemblage for 7 months in oak barrels.

Bertrand-Delespierre Enfant de la Montagne

A blend of 45% pinot noir, 35% chardonnay, 20% pinot meunier from the village of Chamery in Montagne de Reims. 60% 2019, 40% vin de reserve. Disgorged in January 2024 and bone dry with 2 g/l. Only 5000 bottles made. Clémence and Adrien Bertrand are 2nd generation vignerons (their parents started plantings in the 1980s). They organically farm 24 hectares in over four Premier Cru villages and only declare vintages for their cuvées during the best of years. They don't make a vintage for the sake of having one every year, and they age their vintage cuvées for a minimum of 8-10 years (the minimum rule is 3 years).

A blend of 70% chardonnay, 20% pinot noir, 10% pinot meunier from the village is Fèrebrianges in the Vallée du Petit Morin (South of Épernay in Sezanne) where vigneron Adrien Bergère farms organically. This is a very interesting area of diverse soils, just 15 minutes south of Épernay, in the epicenter of Grand Cru terroir. The wine is aged sur lie with and matured in large oak foudres and 228L barrels. Fresh and unctious with a distinct minerality. Complex with depth, texture and vibrant acidity. 4 g/l dosage and disgorged in September 2022
