If France had a wine region that exuded the quintessential Seattle vibe, we’d look no further than La Loire. The longest river in France unwinds 625 miles from the Central Massif all the way North to Sancerre, and then abruptly West where it stretches toward Nantes on the Atlantic coast at 47.5°N - almost aligned with Seattle on a different salty shore. A similar cool marine climate and casual grunge aesthetic questions the status quo along this latitude with attitude. Some of our favorite wines in all the world seem to flow out of these parts, with Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc being star players. We are stoked to collaborate with our friends Vinos Pingüinos to showcase new finds with you in a paired tasting menu designed to share on Valentine's Day. We will gather around the table in a beautiful heated rooftop greenhouse overlooking the entire city. Singles, groups of friends, as well as couples are welcome to come together for this family style culinary adventure.
